New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said that his administration reviewed applicable laws and determined New York City lacked legal avenues to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He called on the federal government to arrest Netanyahu, and said that Netanyahu “is not welcome in New York City.”
